Does Hanover World seem slower than usual?

I've had comments from members that the site seems very slow. I recently installed a new function to HW called 'chat' it allows you to talk (type) to other members in real time. I'm wondering if this has caused the slowness. Please can you let me know if you think the site has slowed down since I've installed chat.

If this seems to be the case, I'll take it off again. Let me know what you think.

I am having probs with my computer freezing every time I go into Hanover world (probably because I don't have the patience to allow enough time for the new slow mo HW to work)...this means that when I have posted this message the only way I can free my system up is to press alt-ctrl-del and then restart my computer....... anyone else getting the same problem?

Hi Arthur, I took the 'Chat' function off yesterday, does it seem to be better now?

Yes it does seem better this morning, in fact the feezing up stopped just after I moaned last night so maybe I was in the last knockings of whatever went wrong.......thanks,
