A virtual glass of champers Margaret ! That is frustration personified. I've got a much better idea - let's all go round to Ruth's, I bet she lives in a mansion so there will be plenty of room. Bring out those Webbs' crystal flutes and the Veuve Cliquot - Moet or Bollinger and I will bring the nibbles - asparagus tips wrapped in finely sliced fresh Scottish salmon with plenty of black olives and green ones stuffed with anchovies - if I can find them. [ It makes a change from sausages and left-overs.] --- Hank

I like your style Hank......I love the Widow, too. Not so much Moet or Bolly - but, actually, I can't afford to be fussy......I'll settle for Prosecco!!!

Just thought an acknowledgement of Ruth's recruitment effort was appropriate.

Thanks for celebrating everyone! Hopefully we'll get membership to 300 much quicker. Oh, how I wish I lived the lifestyle you associate with me, it would be quite amusing to try and fit 200 people in my house, you would all get to know each other intimately. Well I better go, have to take my Bentley to the garage for servicing and I need to tell my gardener to get the leaves out of the pool!

In October Margaret celebrated HW's 200 milestone of members with a glass or X? of the Prosecco. 36 new members have joined since, (welcome to you all), at the current rate of new members joining, you could be 'popping a cork' Margaret, to celebrate 300 about August time, that would be great for HW...

Question, has Hanover Magazine or word of mouth directed them to HW, we do not know!
And how many have left HW for what ever reason, we do not know!
Its a bit like... ''Winking at a pretty girl in the dark, she would never know''.

Hi This really applies to anyone who visits this section. Have you ever clicked on MEMBERS then keep clicking onto next until you come to the first ever page ? There are two guys named Sam Clohesy and James Brain who are friends. They look about 30+ and I wonder what they were doing on the site Sam Clohesy looks like someone with an attitude !!!
There is only one person on that page who has ever posted.
One chap joined who was not a resident and he wanted to know about life with Hanover. We have kept in touch but I don't think he will ever be a resident as his family are dotted all over the world and I get emails from various countries as he treks around Europe. --- Hank

You never know, if the pope sees it, he might come on and bless us all.....

The profile was Hank's idea after the demonstration.

Hi all, I can throw light on the Sam Chlosey person, not sure about the James Brain. Sam works for Engage who are our partners in providing the hanover website. I think he must of joined HW to help Dean test the site at the time. James Brain may have also worked for Engage at the time. In my experience, new media companies often emply youngish people, which explains their young photos. Probably another whole debate here about ageism.

Thank you Ruth --- I did wonder as they seemed out of place on the first page. I did have a problem with one young person that joined so I guess that is why I was interested. Dean twice had to block their access. - Hank.
