Hi Arthur, I really don't know myself but I'm going to forward your query to our IS department to see if they can help.
Best Wishes Ruth

Hello Ruth

I have been trying to download a guest flat vid (Telford).....I tried a couple of times on the guest flat site bit it never seems to complete.....the vid is only 87 MB but last night I let it run for three hours...and again this morning I let it run for two hours,,,but it just seems to go on for ever.....on the main page this vid would take around an hour to download......got any ideas......

I am trying to add comprehensive guides for using this site. It takes a little bit of time to do, so please be patient. However if you need to know how to do something quickly let me know and I'll send you specific help and make that the next topic on which I produce a guide. Also let me know if you think there is something missing from one of the guides.

Phew! That was scary.....but actually quite easy, just as you said, Ruth. I don't have anything to sell - I'll have to start looking in my cupboards.
Hopefully someone will find it useful.
Best

Hi Marg, you could create a 'for sale' group. Go to the groups menu at the top of the page, and then click on add new group. To find a picture for the group, I google the group name in google images, pick an appropriate picture, then right click on it, save as, choose a folder to save it in. Then locate the picture from the 'add a group' page. Give it a go, it's quite easy!

Wonderful!! What a great idea, perhaps this group will prevent me from making a complete nuisance of myself and "taking over" the site. Apologies to everyone for my error last week - I thought I was loading photographs of my family and friends onto My Page, which I thought was a private space, but I wasn't. The photographs tok ages to load (there were quite a few) and prevented others from being able to use the Network. From what I can gather, the only private area is via your In-box, all replies and comments are public.

Perhaps someone in the Group would give an overview of what a Network is and how it functions? Maybe a guide to the first steps to try out? Having our own World is a useful thing, it means we can communicate and help each other really effectively. How about a For Sale section?
