Add photos of you on your wedding day, as a baby, in the outfit you thought looked really 'cool', or as a schoolkid. Memories of childhood and schooldays, associated smells and sounds - anything that takes you back.

Hello Jean! it was good to hear from you and I hope you are well. I have wondered many times how people are on the site. What a Winter it has been!! what with all that snow and ice. Good to see the sun beaking through this morning and the birds making a bit more noise. Am just about take a walk to our local shops instead of taking the car as I need the excersise. Am trying to get fit after months of sitting about. My 70th birthday is looming up and I am going to take all my family to London weekending 6th March.( I must be mad! ) but I didn't want a party so They suggested a show and to stay in London for a night. We are going to see Sister Act, Have you seen it? No doubt the wine will flow and I will eat too much but Hey Ho who cares! I will let you know how it went. Must close but so good to hear from you again.... Regards Jne

Hi June,
After having looked at the Hull U3A site, it didn't show anything that realy interested me at the moment. I will keep checking now and again though to see if they are doing anything that might grab me.

Cheers

John

I know I'm going to upset someone - one of the reasons I left before, were these endless messages that are only interesting to the two people concerned. Messages that effect everyone are lost because Mary Bloggs sends a message to Joan Doe and she returns ad infinitum. Why not send private messages privately? Hi June, What a small world it is I used to go dancing in Wakefield from time to time and my late husband also used to work in Castleford. He used to come home every Saturday with bags full of shopping from Castleford Market, those were the days! I also used to go to a dentist in Pontefract but I suppose a lot of these places have changed now. It was nice to hear the Yorkshire accent when Geoff and Jenny visited I do miss it sometimes plus the northern humour. It is a shame you live so far away as I could have accompanied you on some of your visits. We used to visit Asken quite a lot as that is where my late husbands relatives used to live. I also had a cousin who lived in Selby. I believe Jenny said they used to originate from Skipton but they live in Goole now I think they said they were due to visit again next March so hopefully I may meet up with them again they seem to be a very nice couple. I must try and keep in touch a little more often but as you know time takes over sometimes. Nice to hear from you, take care, Daf

Hi June, Sorry I have not been in touch of late but had rather a hectic time hope you are OK I see you originate from Yorkshire (my neck of the woods) where abouts I may have asked this question before if I have sorry to ask again. I had Jenny and Geoff Meakin visit our complex down here in Penzance a couple of weeks ago whilst they were holidaying in St Just so we met up. We all had a cup of tea with a friend of mine who also lives in the complex and had a good old natter and a laugh they were very friendly people. Hopefully we will meet them again as I believe they are due to come back down next year. We seemed to have a lot in common as they are also from Yorkshire. Anyway take care, bye for now, Daf
